The Boston Celtics are 5-6 in Marcus Smart’s absence and now they’ll have to play the rest of the first half of the season without him.

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Smart will likely remain out of the C’s lineup through the All-Star break. He hasn’t played since Jan. 30 against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Smart is continuing to work through a left calf strain and hopes to return after the All-Star break.

The 26-year-old was averaging a career-high 13.1 points, 2.8 rebounds and 6.1 assists per game while shooting 39.4% from the field and 31.1% from deep before suffering the injury.

After taking on the Pelicans on Sunday, Boston has six games remaining before the break.
